FBO: 'Loser of the Week'
More FBO-specific features are, to quote Queen, coming soon (a song from their award-winning 1980 effort The Game). Meanwhile, have a look at this week's FBO-inspired LOSER OF THE WEEK piece.
FBO Admin Mobile/Semi-Permanent HQ -- Brooklyn, NY
Created in 2006, the Failed Bands of Oklahoma (FBO) is a collective that spans borders and time zones. To create worldwide awareness for failed bands, the FBO is staging 'FBO Night in the Panhandle: A Celebration of Failure', tentatively scheduled for September 2009. Also the FBO's plans to re-stage the historic Battle for Hutchens have been postponed until we can ensure a safe environment for FBO re-enactors.
On Probation
Colorado is now off its three-month probation for complaining about a stunning horse sculpture the artist died to make.
In May 2008, Rich Trott (of California) maintained his status as FBO's Top Fan with a narrow, unimpressive victory over Mark Hardin and several others in an open poll vote. Visit him here.
FBO Observers
The number grows as the FBO Concert in Guymon nears.

Bob,
Very nice work. Will they let you keep the Oklahoma focus?
The Loser of the Week, like angels or polio, knows no border restrictions.
